Origins Championship 2026 is the nation’s premier intercollegiate Indian classical dance competition. Bringing together the top nine collegiate teams from across the country, this highly anticipated event showcases a full day of culture, artistry, and elite performance on a national stage. Origins Championship is the only national-level organization dedicated exclusively to the Indian classical dance circuit. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to celebrate and elevate Indian classical dance by providing a prestigious platform for intercollegiate teams to promote, sustain, and honor the richness of Indian culture and heritage. Through the leadership and support of collegiate dance organizations, Origins fosters a deep appreciation for ancient art forms among performers and audiences alike. Our vision centers on spreading the passion, discipline, and dedication of individual dancers while building a community that uplifts cultural roots through artistic excellence, teamwork, and national-level competition.
